Opera mobile and the web page mod

So after i installed opera, by default it sets a system wide home page. the built in web browser cant handle it. which i wasnt to bothered about, until the app began to annoy me, there are several glitches which are not major but rather annoying. so! i have decide to wait until the finished product is released. but i found when i removed it and re applied the web page mod it failed? so i set about sorting it. i managed to get it to work by the following steps:

1. Get the .cre file from my previous post.

2. Using x-plore put the file in private/10202be9/persists (overwrite if needed).

3 Start the web browser, the old web page should be visable.

4. Close the web browser and go back to x-plore, return to the file you inserted and edit it. find the location of the start page as before (see previous post) and only change z - c then save making not of the address u just modified, as it does not exist yet you will need to make it.

5. Once the folders have been created drop your custom .html file into the folder. fin

Yes, its a solution to that irritating problem, or use CapsSwitch "Disbled" on start. And the old Opera 8.65 can read the new "Homepage".

Its not pretty, but works..

Cool thanks mate, ill post that as an edit good stuff. i didnt think about that i cant wait for the new opera, i found it to be too buggy and at times ground my phone to a halt, hopfully these issues will be fixed in the final release.
